kangarooms noosa everglades is the newest Noosa hostel, uniquely located in the Cooloola National Park, between two Biospheres and is the gateway to Australia’s only Everglades.

Perched on the edge of the Upper Noosa River there is over 500m of pristine beach front, perfect for the array of water activities on offer or to sit back and take in the picturesque views. Daily return shuttle services are available to Noosa’s iconic beaches and shopping precinct and there is complimentary wi-fi available throughout the kangarooms noosa precinct.

For the adventurous you can hire a canoe, SUP, kayak, wave ski or tinnie, discover the lake, Everglades or Noosa River systems. Test your skills on the new Frisbee Golf course or put on your hiking boots and try one of the many walking trails (ranging from 1-22km)-the choice is yours!

With abundant wildlife all around, you are guaranteed to spot kangaroos, witness the swagger of our monitor lizards, see the cheeky antics of our Curlews and Kookaburras and you could be lucky enough to have a visit from an echidna.

The kangaroom cabins feature a modern 4 bed co-living space (linen included), individual lockers to secure your valuables, USB charging ports for each person, light, power, reverse cycle air-conditioning all within a picturesque bush setting within the Cooloola National Park. Sit back and watch the antics of our Eastern Grey Kangaroos (a population of over 150 inhabit the park), along with a family of cheeky echidnas that aren’t afraid to come up and say “hello”, our monitor lizards are everywhere and not to forget the endless array of unique bird species. A stay at kangarooms is the perfect way to get a taste of Australiana and witness nature at its best!

The Kangarooms Safari Tents are great for travellers wanting a little bit of comfort in a bush setting. This co-living space can cater for up to 6 travellers. With a spacious interior (16m²), 3 x bunk beds (linen included), each Safari Tent has lockable glass sliding doors, ceiling fans, power point, zip up and down windows on all sides and a balcony with outdoor furniture. It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax, and take in the tranquillity of the bushland. It’s also great to watch the local wildlife stroll on by (kangaroos, echidnas, curlews, kookaburras and monitor lizards).

Amenities, camp kitchen and bistro are close by and it is a short stroll to the lake (perfect to watch the sunrise).
